So, it turns out that Paxton is ticklish like his momma. Every time we change his clothes, he starts laughing and snorting. He's especially ticklish under his arms. So, of course, we tortured him some by tickling him so we could have it on video!

Three Months Old
Paxton turned 3 months old today. I can't believe how fast the time has flown. He's now weighing in at 15 pounds and outgrowing clothes faster than I can get him in them. Here's his picture in the basket...
I tried hard to get him to give us one of his gummy grins, but he had other plans. "How about if I just eat my hands?"
"Oh alright, I'll smile. But I'm not going to look at you."
Of course, the minute I had him back in his clothes and out of the basket, this is what he did...
Thanks Paxton. Anyway, here are some other pictures from the last few weeks that I haven't gotten posted yet.
A sweet picture of Daddy with his kiddos
A somewhat scary picture of Mommy with the kiddos (Saturdays are no-makeup days :) )
But if truth be told, this is how he likes to watch football. Such a man.
Thankfully, he can still be a prince too...

Snow Day!
We finally had some real snow. Well, we had some ice and then got a thin layer of snow on top of it. But, it looked all white and snowy outside, so we'll take it!
Madigan was VERY eager to go outside and play. Paxton was too...until we dressed him up.
We had to take the pictures to prove that we really saw snow this year.
Following that picture, Paxton decided that the white, wet stuff falling from the sky was NOT for him, so he went back inside. Madigan, however, had just started having fun. She took her bear for a stroll in the snow...
Started a vicious snowball fight...
And helped me build an enormous snowman!
Okay, maybe the snowman wasn't THAT big. :) But it was cute!
When we got back inside, Madigan told Paxton about all of the fun he'd missed.
We warmed up with some yummy hot chocolate...

And a little TV watchin'.
This show is great!
Unfortunately, the snow day did have to come to an end and everyone returned to work.
But we loved our day at home and are thankful that we all stayed safe during this winter's inclement weather!

"What in the world is this?! I'm a baby, not a bear!"

Who's Yo Daddy?
First of all, more evidence of how quickly time flies. This picture was taken the day we brought Paxton home from the hospital. The outfit was the "newborn" size.
We also received the "3 month" size of the same outfit. So, I put Paxton in it with the same hat and snapped a few pictures.

So in case you can't tell, his rate of growth has been pretty good.
I sent these pictures to Ted's mom, and she emailed back with a picture of Ted at about the same age. For comparison...

Paxton - 2 1/2 months
Ted - 3 months
Do you see any resemblance? At least there's no question of who Paxton's daddy is. :)
And last but not least, a video that I took of Paxton "talking" to the pigs that are painted on his nursery wall.
(Madigan used to do the same thing. There's just something about those pigs that makes you want to squeal!)
Have a great weekend and stay warm!

Best Buddies
Now that I'm back to working three days a week, we've resumed our childcare switch-out with Laura and Jamie. I've enjoyed having the kiddos around, but nowhere near as much as Madigan. She was begging me to go back to work so that she could go back to playing with her buddies! I think she was having a bit of Jenna-withdrawals!
And Madi and Jenna have been a huge help to me taking care of the babies. Well, sometimes...
Paxton is having fun playing with his new buddy, Lindsey.
Even though Lindsey is a bit more mobile than him and likes to use him as a bridge to the other side of the room!
On Fridays, Will joins the fun and teaches Paxton how to survive in a house full of girls.
Will is even more mobile than Lindsey though, so when he's here the baby jail comes out. "Help! I'm trapped!"
"Maybe I can get Lindsey to help me bust out of here."
"Or I guess we could just play with the 5000 toys that are in this room and quit trying to break free... for now, at least."
Madigan loves playing on the swing set with her buddies.
And I've enjoyed not having to ride on the see-saw!

We've also learned that Paxton is quite the ladies' man. Hmm... this may not be fun during the teenage years.
What a blessing to have such good friends!

Weekend with Pa and Gee Gee
Pa and Gee Gee came to Arkansas this weekend to spend time with us. Okay, they came to see the grandkids and as a result, got to spend some time with Ted and me too! It had been 6 weeks since we'd all been together for Thanksgiving, so needless to say Paxton had changed quite a bit! They were in awe at how "chubby" he'd gotten.
So, he got lots of cuddle time with Gee Gee...
And plenty of playtime with Pa...
But don't worry - Madigan wasn't neglected at all when it came to getting attention. She and Gee Gee spent some time primping (since Madi's nails hadn't been painted since the last time we saw Gee Gee!)
And, of course, they spent time playing on the new swing set.
As always, Pa and Gee Gee brought "treats". Can you tell that Madigan likes her new bear?
And I never would have guessed how much fun could be had with two plastic balls.
Paxton decided to show off while Pa and Gee Gee were here. He started out in this position...
And ended up like this...
That's right - he rolled over from his tummy to his back. He was quite proud of himself!
Before church on Sunday, we again took pictures. I thought these turned out cute.
We also played some Wii Fit and I got some hilarious videos of Pa and Gee Gee doing some rhythmic kung fu. However, I'd like to stay the favorite child, so I won't be posting them here. :)
We had a great weekend and are so glad they got to come visit. I talked to my dad tonight and he said he was going into withdrawals from missing the kids. I told Madigan that and she said, "He's going where?" Oops, guess the word "withdrawal" wasn't in her vocabulary yet! :)
Thanks to Pa and Gee Gee for everything. We love you!

2 Months Old
Paxton turned 2 months old on the 6th. We had his 2 month appointment today. He weighs 13 lb, 5 oz (80%ile) and is 22 3/4 inches long (36%ile). Everything else looks great, which is a huge blessing. I'll try to minimize my whining over how quickly the last two months has gone...but it has. And he's changed so much in a month. Don't believe me? Check out these pictures.
That's the same basket. I thought I would take a picture in it each month to see how much he grows, but I'm not sure he'll even fit in it at 3 months!
Here are a few more pictures that I took trying to get a good 2 month photo.
