First Comes Love...

Then comes a weekend trip to Nashville for a wedding! Ted's cousin Kelsey got married this weekend, so we loaded up and headed that way. An added bonus, Ted's parents and sister got to come from North Carolina, so we got to spend a few days with them as well.
The wedding was absolutely perfect and we are so glad we got to be a part of it. The beautiful bride with her Daddy...
Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Curtis Smith!!
Since Aunt Kate was there, we also got some wonderful pictures of the kids with her fancy, schmancy camera!

Isn't this cute?!
As you can see, Madigan was thrilled with me for interrupting her fun to fix her hair.
This was during Paxton's great escape attempt. "If I can just make it up these steps without Mom seeing, I'm free!"I sure do love this boy.
For the first time in a VERY long time, we were able to meet up with Gramps' sister (Great Aunt Shirley) and her family.
Aunt Shirley and Andy enjoyed messing with Paxton. Paxton still thought they were funny!
Very sweet picture...
Madi LOVED the wedding cupcakes. Yum!
And Paxton enjoyed chilling with the maid of honor, Caroline.
Like I said, a beautiful wedding for a wonderful couple. Congrats Kelsey and Curtis!

After the wedding, we went to Ted's cousin BethAnn's house and the kids got to play with their 3rd cousin, James. I think James and Paxton were having a deep discussion here...
The kids really enjoyed playing in James' pool...which had no water in it. But apparently that's what made it so fun!
Great Aunt Shirley gave Madi her birthday present while we were there. Can you tell that she liked it?
Whose child is this?!
And I have to include a picture of the "king". :)
While we were in Nashville, we got to run by and spend a few hours with my brother and his family who just moved there last week. It was fun to see their new house and let the kids play in the sprinkler. At least Ella played in the sprinkler...
while Madi hung out on the outskirts and squealed and giggled!
Paxton went on a little walk with Uncle Matt.
And then got some laughs by showing off his mohawk hairdo!
It was a wonderful trip but all that visiting sure wore the little guy out!
