Last week, we met some friends at the Wonder Place. Both kids had a blast!
As always, the water table was a hit!
I hope the paint on this wall was waterproof, because Paxton's splashing got a bit out of control at times.
Madi enjoyed putting on a puppet show...
while Paxton snacked on a plastic asparagus.
Madi loved playing with Alia, who is a super sweet "big kid" (3rd grader).
She also played with Alex, who is also 3 years old. Well, they kind of played AROUND each other rather than WITH each other. But they still had fun!
And Paxton loved playing with his new buddy Avery. These two actually cracked us up. Avery would lie down beside Paxton and pretend to go to sleep. Paxton would pat his head and then they would both giggle. I know this picture looks more like Paxton is attacking Avery, but I promise they were having fun!
Madi decided that it was my birthday, so she made me a giant cake and the world's largest ice cream cone. Yummy!
Paxton used his new climbing skills to get up the toddler playground.
He wasn't quite as confident going down the slide, but he managed. I'm anticipating a lot of bumps and bruises in his future given the "no fear" attitude he has.
It was a great outing with some great friends! And an added bonus - both kids were so worn out by the time we got home that they took a super long nap. Two thumbs up from me!
