It's a little ironic that I'm posting this blog on a "Snow Day". But we live in Arkansas where the weather changes as fast as you can blink, so it actually isn't that surprising.
Last weekend, we had a wonderful break in winter weather and got to enjoy some 75 degree days. So, we headed outdoors!
We went up to our church parking lot. Paxton and I jogged around with the jogging stroller,
while Madi got reacquainted with her bike,
and Ted tried out the Princess scooter. :)
Here's a little taste of Madi's mad biking skills.
And Paxton enjoying the jogging stroller and asking for "more" rides.
The next day, I took the kids to the park where Paxton debuted his new sliding skills. Head first, of course.
Here's a video I took of him sliding at our house on Monday. By then, it was cooler and a jacket was needed. He was bummed by that because it slowed him up on the slide. I was a little relieved.
He also tested out the Jeep while we were outside that day. Only a real man can make a Barbie Jeep look this good!
Unfortunately all good things have to come to an end and by Tuesday we had temperatures in the 20s with bitterly cold windchills. But we enjoyed getting out and soaking up the sun while we could. Now bring on the snow! :)
